About Us

Dr. Robert Ormond founded Linder Pet Medical Care in 2011. Rob has known his entire life that he wanted to be a veterinarian. Dr. David says he had ridden along in the mobile unit since he was in diapers, and when he was 9 years old, he knew he wanted to be his father’s apprentice. He followed his father’s footsteps and graduated from veterinary school in 2011 from St. Matthews University after completing his clinic training at the University of Minnesota.

If you have met Rob, it is easy to see how passionate he is about his profession and his bond with his patients. He prides himself on being able to provide care for his patients throughout their entire life. Whether it is well puppy visits, illnesses, surgery, or palliative care, Rob always makes every effort to ensure that he can be there. “If I had gone into a certain specialty, I wouldn’t be able to see my patients full circle throughout their lives. I want that bond with my patients and their families.” Rob is particularly passionate about remembering that all of us are pet owners first. He continuously tries to put himself in his client’s shoes to ensure a true partnership can be formed throughout the lifetime of a pet. It’s the reason that Rob created the Member Plans to offer exceptional care at an affordable price.

Rob and his family have a Domestic Long Hair Cat named Baxter. Rob enjoys spending his free time with his family. His wife, Katie, is a source of constant support. Together with their 6 children, they enjoy many outdoor activities, such as camping, backpacking, and water sports. Mostly what makes these things so much fun for him is that his family is always right there with him.

You may catch Rob in clinic, but he truly is in his element when out on the road seeing patients in their home environment. He is Mobile Pet Medica Care’s main veterinarian. Rob also enjoys seeing exotics and is even the official veterinarian of the Aquarium of Boise!

 Born and raised in Idaho, Dr. Schiers attended the University of Idaho for her undergraduate degree before heading to Washington State University for veterinary school. Throughout vet school, she was lucky enough to have her own little crew with her: two horses, two cats, and a dog, which only deepened her appreciation for the bond people share with all of their animals.

She has a particular passion for equine medicine and is excited to incorporate large animal medicine into the practice while continuing to provide high-quality small animal veterinary care. She enjoys the variety that comes with mixed-animal veterinary medicine and the opportunity to care for dogs, cats, horses, and other animals.

One of the things she loves most about being a veterinarian is getting to know both the pets and the people who care for them. She wants to provide the kind of care for her clients who, like her, want to have a veterinarian they trust to care for all of their animals, whether that means their dog, cat, horse, or anything in between.

Outside of the clinic, you can usually find her outdoors. She spent several summers as a raft guide in Stanley, Idaho, and still loves rafting, camping, and hiking. She also enjoys reading, spending time riding her horses, walking her dog, and hanging out with family and friends.

She’s excited to be back in Idaho and to build relationships with the people and animals in the community while providing trusted equine, large animal, and small animal veterinary care.

KK is a certified professional in Laser Therapy and Fear Free Training, bringing a wealth of knowledge and compassion to her role. With a background in farm medicine, KK’s passion for animal care started early, growing up on a farm where she developed a lifelong dedication to helping animals and advocating for their well-being.

At home, KK is accompanied by her two Border Collie crosses, a clear testament to her love for cattle dogs. She often says, “I don’t know what life is like without a cow dog on my side.”

Outside of work, KK enjoys riding horses with her daughter and proudly carrying sponsor flags at local rodeos. Her deep connection with animals shines through in her philosophy: “All animals talk; you just have to be quiet enough to listen.”
